WHY SIX CARTRIDGES
The five stages of your system do not wear at the same rate.
The PP sediment cartridge sits first in the sequence and captures everything before it reaches the carbon, composite and membrane stages. It loads fastest and is replaced approximately every six months — which is why this kit contains two of them.
The CTO carbon block, RFC composite media, UF ultrafiltration membrane, and T33 post-carbon polishing cartridges are each replaced once a year.
Rather than have you place separate orders and pay shipping several times over, this kit contains everything a full year requires in one delivery.

REPLACEMENT SCHEDULE
At installation or at the start of the year
Replace all five stages — PP, CTO, RFC, UF and T33.
At six months
Replace the PP sediment cartridge only. The remaining four stages continue for the rest of the year.
Actual intervals depend on your incoming water quality and household usage. Homes with higher sediment loads may need the PP stage changed sooner; a noticeable drop in flow at the dedicated faucet is the usual first sign.
EASY TO CHANGE
Close the inlet valve, release the pressure, unscrew the housing by hand (the wrench supplied with your system helps if it is tight), swap the cartridge and screw the housing back on. Then flush for 5 minutes and reset the filter indicator.
